When that happens
- The land is worth more to a family who wants a home, a farm, or a place to hunt than to a builder.
- It’s a small tract with a nice house, the kind of property that sells best when lots of buyers see it.
- We can’t agree on a price, and you still want to sell.
- The honest read says the open market will simply pay you more than we can.
How it works
I tell you plainly
If I think listing your land will get you more than selling to us, you’ll hear it from me, with the reasons.
I find the right broker
Not just any agent. A land broker who sells land like yours, in your area, all the time.
I introduce you
You talk with them, ask your questions, and decide whether to work with them. There’s no obligation.
They work for you
If you hire them, you sign a listing agreement with their firm, and their job is to get you the best result. Not us.
Who that broker works for, and who gets paid
If selling on the open market will get you more, we’ll connect you with a land broker who knows your area. That broker works for you, not us. Ryan may receive a referral fee from that broker’s firm, paid through eXp, and we’ll tell you in writing before you sign anything.
The broker’s commission is set in your listing agreement with their firm, which you read and sign yourself. Any referral fee comes out of what that firm is paid, not added on as a separate charge to you.
